Who's Who Wednesday: Bolt

“They need a hero Bolt, someone who, no matter what the odds, will do what's right. They need a hero to tell them that sometimes the impossible can become possible if you're awesome!” –Rhino

The star of Walt Disney Animation Studio’s 2008 CGI film, Bolt the “super dog” is often forgotten by many movie-goers and fans alike, but this cute and faithful friend can teach us that we all have traits and things about us and our personality that can trump any super power.

Bolt is just the tupical white American Shepherd Dog, starring in the hit television show Bolt, but there is a catch; Bolt has been manipulated and deceived by the directors and actors into thinking that he has actual superpowers. When he mistankely believes his owner, Penny, has been kidnapped by evil forces Bolt leaves behind his Hollywood life in order to save her, only to realize his powers are now failing him. But not to worry, Bolt meets his friends Mitten, a black alley cat, and Rhino, a hyper overly tv-obsessed hamster. With their help Bolt must make his way back to the studio and come to realization that even if his powers aren’t real, he’s still one-of-a-kind.

Bolt is quick-witted, intelligent, and faithful to his friends and family.
Bolt took a hiatus from filming his tv show to come visit guests at Disney Hollywood Studios Animation Courtyard, but has unfortunately had to go back to work and rarely appears at Disney.
